A bright pink Masters cocktail with citrus and pineapple, offered here in both classic and quick Augusta versions.
Ingredients
Classic Masters Azalea
- 2 oz vodka, or gin
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz grenadine, adjusted to taste
- Ice
- Lemon slice and maraschino cherry, for garnish
Quick Augusta Version
- 1¼ oz vodka
- 5 oz lemonade
- ½ oz grenadine
- Ice
- Orange slice and cherry, for garnish
Instructions
Classic Masters Azalea
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and grenadine.
- Shake vigorously until well chilled.
- Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lemon slice and maraschino cherry.
Quick Augusta Version
- Stir the vodka and lemonade together in a glass with ice.
- Slowly pour in the grenadine and stir until the drink reaches the desired Azalea pink.
- Garnish with an orange slice and cherry.
Notes
- Add grenadine gradually for a bright floral pink rather than a deep red.
- For a mocktail, omit the vodka and increase the lemonade or pineapple juice.
- Do not use real azaleas as a garnish; they are toxic to humans and pets. Use fruit or mint instead.
